I have never enjoyed doing business with these people. Ever. If you make a purchase, they act dismissive, almost spiteful, and when you come to sell or pawn, they treat you like a suspicious criminal. They are rude and abrasive, and seem more inclined to talk about guns/politics/the world at large than do business with you. When I came by to sell some games, I was scrutinized (which left me feeling awkward) and whenever he came across an older game he would toss it derisively aside and say "these are too old". When the, uh, 'gentleman' pulled out my special edition Transformers movie with Optimus Prime transforming DVD case, he mockingly said "and we sure don't take toys". They give you pennies off the dollar for what you're selling when the Friendly pawn, a few blocks south, offer much friendlier service and more money for your goods. As for the interior, it's cramped, grungy, dirty, and smells of dirt, dust and oil. It very well could pass itself off as some hoarders' garage. And of course let's not forget that they mark up everything they own to nearly double it's market value. All in all, poor service, oppressive atmosphere, rude business owners, ugly interior, and ridiculous cost for purchases, this is one of the MOST shady pawn shops I've seen in Northern Colorado. Go to any other pawn shop in the area, you'll thank me later.
